
1. Haven Power will provide customers with a website address/e-mail address/telephone number on which to contact an efficiency adviser.
2. Haven Power will update a section on the website regularly to ensure that all customers receive advice on the efficient use of energy. Each invoice and the contract award documentation shall contain a link to the energy efficiency section of the website.
3. Haven Power will appoint an Energy Efficiency Co-ordinator to provide information for the website.Business Development staff will have adequate training to ensure they are able to meet the obligations of the Code of Practice.
4. The website will contain:
- Details of the Haven Power Energy Management Service and current initiatives;
- Industry advice;
- Details relevant to recent government efficiency advice;
- Haven Power contact details for further advice and general efficiency queries;
- Links to external information provided by Local and National Government and Trade Bodies;
- Any other topical information, including seasonal operational checks;
5. The operation of Energy Efficiency service, including content and frequency will be reviewed annually. If the service fails to meet the standards set in this Code of Practice corrective measure will be taken.
6. A Director will ensure that changes in legislation are reviewed and that this Code of Practice is amended as necessary.The Director will ensure that consequent changes are communicated to staff and that they receive sufficient training to meet any revised obligations.
